2. Know What You Own
Solar System Evaluation
Know exactly what you own and how it's performing. The Solar System Evaluation is designed especially for homeowners whose original installer is no longer available, people purchasing a home with existing solar, or anyone who wants an independent assessment. If you do not have the original engineering plans, we will work with you to help recover them from the engineer of record or local building department.
Includes: Comprehensive onsite system inspection, solar production assessment, battery health assessment when applicable, equipment and installation review, monitoring review, identification of visible issues, and written findings with recommended next steps.
Fine print: Standard evaluation covers residential systems up to 30 panels and two batteries within 30 miles of any Coastal Energy service location. Repairs, replacement parts and corrective work are not included. Larger or more complex systems may require additional charges approved before service.

Coastal Care: Your Solar Maintenance Plan
$59/month or $649/year
Complete ongoing care for your solar and battery system. One solar maintenance plan covering solar and battery maintenance, monitoring and priority support. Every Coastal Care member also gets free access to our Mobile App, so you can track your system and manage service right from your phone.

Systems outside standard coverage may require additional fees. Existing systems may require a Solar System Evaluation before enrollment.
