How it works

Two Inputs, One Instant Price

You enter your home address and roughly what you pay for power each month. The calculator pulls a satellite view of your roof, measures the usable roof planes, and sizes an array that covers the usage your bill implies.

What comes back is a price, not a savings pitch. You see the installed cost range for the solar system, the modeled system size in kilowatts, and what a Tesla Powerwall or comparable battery adds if you want backup during outages.

Pricing follows our published Florida rates, starting at $2.30 to $3.00 per watt installed depending on system size, roof type and equipment. Every number on screen is a starting estimate; a signed price comes after a site survey.

Using the calculator

How to Get Your Instant Solar Estimate

  1. 01

    Enter Your Address

The tool finds your roof from satellite imagery and measures the planes that can actually hold panels.

  2. 02

    Enter Your Monthly Bill

A rough monthly dollar amount is enough. No account login, no uploading twelve months of statements.

  3. 03

Choose Solar or Solar Plus Battery

Add battery backup to see what a Powerwall sized for your essential loads adds to the installed cost.

  4. 04

    See Your Cost Range

You get an installed price range and system size on screen. Keep it, or send it to us to firm it up.

What drives the price

What Moves the Cost of a Florida Solar and Battery System

Two homes with the same power bill can price differently. These are the four things that move the installed cost the most.

How Much Power You Use

Your monthly bill sets the array size. Pool pumps, pool heaters and central air tonnage push usage up far more than square footage does, and more panels means more cost.

Roof Type and Complexity

Attachment cost differs between metal, tile and flat roofs. Multiple planes, steep pitch and tight ridges all add labor to the installed price.

Battery Backup Coverage

Backing up a few essential circuits costs less than whole home backup. Each additional battery adds capacity and cost.

Electrical Panel Condition

An older or fully loaded main panel may need an upgrade before interconnection, which the instant estimate cannot see from satellite imagery.

Accuracy

Why the Price Can Shift After a Site Visit

Satellite imagery is usually one to three years old, so a recent re-roof, a new addition or a tree that has grown in can change the layout. It also cannot see attic framing, main panel capacity or the condition of your roof deck.

That is why every instant estimate gets confirmed with an in person site survey before we write a contract. Most confirmed designs land within about 10% of the estimated cost range, though roof complexity or a required panel upgrade can move it further.
