Sound familiar?

Your Installer Is Gone. Your System Is Not.

Florida's solar boom left thousands of homeowners with functioning panels and no one to support them. The companies that installed those systems closed up shop, went silent or simply moved on, leaving rooftop systems with no service relationship, no monitoring setup and no one willing to take responsibility.

Most solar companies will not touch a system they did not install. That means if something goes wrong, whether an inverter failure, a drop in production or storm damage, you are left calling around with no answers.

Every month your system underperforms is a month you are still paying the utility for power your panels should have generated for free. Most homeowners do not realize there is a problem until months of savings are already gone.

We built the Orphan Program for exactly this situation. Coastal Energy adopts orphan systems regardless of who installed them, what brand they are, or how long they have been without support. One flat fee, full transparency, no pressure.

Who this is for

Four Reasons Homeowners Call Us

Your Installer Went Out of Business

They are unreachable, shut down, or simply stopped responding. Your workmanship warranty is worthless with no one left to honor it.

You Bought a Home With an Existing System

No documentation, no installer relationship and no idea whether the system is performing the way it should.

Your System Is Not Producing Like It Used To

Bills are creeping back up. Something changed. Nobody will touch another company's work.

You Are Not Sure It Is Working Correctly

No monitoring, no visibility and no one who can tell you what your panels are actually doing.

Will you service a solar system you did not install?

Yes. Coastal Energy services every brand of solar panel, inverter and battery in Florida regardless of the original installer, including systems whose installer is no longer in business.

Do I have to use Coastal Energy for the repairs?

No. The evaluation gives you a documented correction protocol and itemized pricing. You decide whether to have us complete the work or take the report elsewhere.

Which brands can you diagnose and repair?

Enphase, SolarEdge, Sol-Ark, SunnyBoy, SunPower, Tesla and most other panel, inverter and battery brands installed in Florida, including monitoring gateways and rapid shutdown devices.

What does the orphan solar evaluation cost?

A solar only evaluation is a $500 flat fee. A solar plus battery evaluation is $750. Both include the on-site inspection, a written correction protocol with itemized repair costs, and 12 months of monitoring.

Can you honor my original workmanship warranty?

No company can honor a warranty issued by a business that no longer exists. What we can do is evaluate the system, correct the issues and cover our own work under our 5 year workmanship warranty, then keep it maintained under the Coastal Care Plan.

How soon can you get out to my system?

We accept requests 24/7 and prioritize scheduling during business hours. Care Plan members receive priority scheduling ahead of standard service requests.
