Enphase IQ Battery 10C Installation in Florida

Enphase built the IQ Battery 10C as a modular alternative to a single large battery bank. Each unit carries 10.0 kWh of usable capacity and 7.08 kVA of continuous output, and the microinverters live inside the battery instead of a separate string inverter, so there is less field wiring to run and fewer parts that can fail as a single point.

Most Florida homes we install for run one or two units to cover essential loads through a grid outage. Homes with a pool pump, well pump or larger AC tonnage often add a third unit. Because each battery is a self contained AC coupled block, we can add capacity later without redesigning the whole system.
