FranklinWH aPower 2 whole home battery installed on an exterior wall

Straight answer

What Can a Single FranklinWH aPower 2 Power?

A single aPower 2 stores 15 kWh and delivers 10 kW continuous output, enough to run most Florida homes' essential loads and start a 5-ton AC unit. Overview

Whole Home Backup from a Single Battery

FranklinWH built the aPower 2 to cover a whole Florida home from one box rather than requiring several small batteries stacked together. At 15 kWh of capacity and 10 kW continuous output, a single unit can carry a well pump, pool equipment and central AC without the surge current tripping the system, which matters when a 5-ton compressor kicks on at the same time as other loads.

The system uses lithium iron phosphate chemistry for thermal stability and runs at roughly 30 dBA, quiet enough to mount near a bedroom wall without disturbing sleep. It works reliably from -4°F to 131°F, which covers both a Florida summer attic space and the rare cold snap.
